Top Dancehall Songs In Trinidad: Aidonia Holds No. 1 As Prince Swanny, Medz Boss & Malie Donn Make The List

Dancehall continues to dominate music streaming in Trinidad and Tobago.

The latest YouTube Trinidad rankings feature several major names from the Caribbean dancehall scene. Aidonia leads the list with “Like How Yuh Feel.”

Prince Swanny, Medz Boss, Teejay and Malie Donn also make the top six. Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai” provides the only non-dancehall entry.

Aidonia holds No. 1

Aidonia’s “Like How Yuh Feel” sits at No. 1 in Trinidad.

The song gives Aidonia the top spot for the second straight month. The track also continues to perform strongly across the Caribbean.

Banga House MG and Tru Ambassador Next Generation produced the song. Beatmaker Jahvanie “Week.day” Morrison also worked on the production.

The track blends melodic elements with Aidonia’s raw dancehall delivery. Its subject matter centers on attraction and relationships.

“Like How Yuh Feel” also performs well across several Caribbean markets. It reaches No. 1 on Apple Music in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Grenada, St. Kitts and St. Lucia.

The song reaches No. 2 in Trinidad, Barbados, Antigua and Anguilla.

It has also passed one million Spotify streams. Combined YouTube views have reached the millions.

Aidonia’s manager, Lav “Lalo” Lawrence, also confirmed plans for a new studio project later in 2026.

Prince Swanny makes a strong entry

Prince Swanny’s “BussHead” takes the No. 2 position.

Swanny released the Trinibad track on August 17. Sxrgical produced the song.

“BussHead” carries Swanny’s signature Badman and Zesser style. The track quickly gained momentum with Trinidadian listeners.

The song topped the Trinidad YouTube weekly chart for the week ending August 27. It recorded more than 258,000 weekly streams in that period.

Swanny originally recorded the track one to two years ago. His team later rushed the release after an unauthorized party threatened to leak it.

The official video opens with an entertainment-only disclaimer. The lyrics also contain a reference aimed at Plumpy Boss.

Swanny continues to build momentum in 2026. He received a Dancehall Album of the Year nomination at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards for Saint.

He also released “Might Do” on August 27, produced by KJ Productions. His current run has kept him near the top of Trinidad’s music charts.

Shakira and Burna Boy bring the global entry

Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai” ranks No. 3 in the supplied top-six ranking.

The song stands apart from the dancehall releases. It brings an Afro-Latin sound to a list dominated by Caribbean dancehall.

The track combines Afro-Latin influences, reggaeton and stadium-style percussion. It also features a multilingual chant aimed at a global audience.

“Dai Dai” has maintained a strong international presence. It also remains part of the wider 2026 football conversation.

Medz Boss remains in the top four

Medz Boss’ “Just Do It” takes the No. 4 spot.

The track originally dropped on November 29, 2025, through Bing Bang Studioz. Studio Impact and Bing Bang Studioz produced the song.

“Just Do It” became one of the more talked-about Trinibad tracks. It also gained attention through sound clash and dubplate culture.

The official video uses Nike branding throughout its concept. The intro also targets Kman 6ixx.

The track contains heavy gunplay themes. Those themes helped generate controversy around the release.

Medz Boss also returned to the spotlight in August. He received his release from detention on August 24 after Homeland Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds revoked his five-month emergency detention order.

The development followed a public campaign and calls for a truce involving Kman and Plumpy Boss.

“Just Do It” continues to attract attention months after its original release. The latest YouTube Trinidad chart places it at No. 3 for the week ending August 27.

Teejay keeps his place in the top five

Teejay’s “Go Dung” ranks No. 5.

The Jamaican artist delivers a raw and energetic dancehall track. The song centers on an explicit dance command.

“Go Dung” uses the Different Rankin’ Riddim. VP Records originally released the riddim project in 2020.

Shabdon and Din Din produced the riddim.

The track remains popular with DJs and live audiences. Its energy has helped it maintain a presence on Trinidad’s streaming charts.

Teejay also appeared on the previous month’s list.

“Go Dung” remains in the current YouTube Trinidad top 10, ranking No. 7 for the week ending August 27.

Malie Donn continues his breakout run

Malie Donn’s “Van Cleef” ranks No. 6 overall.

Among the dancehall entries, it ranks No. 5.

The song has become one of Malie Donn’s biggest breakout records of 2026. The original track arrived on June 1.

Attomatic Records, Salkey Records and Crook Empire produced the song.

Malie Donn followed up with “Van Cleef Pt. 2” on July 22. Dan Sky Records produced the sequel.

Both songs draw inspiration from luxury jewellery brand Van Cleef & Arpels. They also combine trap influences with smooth, melodic dancehall.

The “Van Cleef” series continues to perform strongly in Trinidad and Jamaica. “Van Cleef” currently sits among Trinidad’s top Apple Music songs, while “Vancleef Pt. 2” also remains in the chart.

The original “Van Cleef” also continues to rank on the Trinidad YouTube chart. It sits at No. 5 for the week ending August 27, with more than 106,000 weekly streams.

Dancehall dominates the list

The latest ranking shows dancehall’s continued strength in Trinidad.

Aidonia holds the overall No. 1 position. Prince Swanny follows at No. 2, while Medz Boss, Teejay and Malie Donn also make the top six.

Shakira and Burna Boy provide the only global entry outside the genre.

The results highlight the strong connection between Trinidadian listeners and dancehall. They also show the growing influence of Trinibad alongside established Jamaican artists.

With new music continuing to arrive, the next Trinidad ranking could bring another major shake-up.
