Beenie Man releases “Eminence” album with Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, T.I., Mya and more

Beenie Man returns with “Eminence”

Dancehall legend Beenie Man has released his new studio album, “Eminence.”

The 16-track project arrived on August 20, 2026. It brings together Jamaican, Caribbean and international artists.

Kemar “Flava” McGregor handles the production. The album comes through Billboard King Records.

With the project, Beenie Man continues to connect Dancehall with hip-hop, R&B and other global sounds.

A star-studded lineup

“Eminence” features a wide range of major names.

The album includes collaborations with Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, T.I., Mya and Ashanti. Several major Dancehall and Caribbean artists also appear throughout the project.

The track “305/876” features Rick Ross. The two artists also connect again on “Hat Tip,” which adds Rotimi to the collaboration.

Mya joins Beenie Man on “Don’t Rush.” Their reunion adds another chapter to their long-running musical chemistry.

Another major collaboration comes on “For You.” The track features Snoop Dogg alongside Elephant Man, D’Yani, Tifa, Shaneil Muir, Vanessa Bling, Stefflon Don, Kraff and Pamputtae.

T.I. and Ashanti also appear together with Beenie Man on “Make Out.”

Flava McGregor leads the production

Veteran producer Kemar “Flava” McGregor oversees the album’s production.

His involvement gives the project a consistent Jamaican foundation. At the same time, the production leaves room for hip-hop and R&B influences.

That approach allows Beenie Man to move between traditional Dancehall performances and more crossover-oriented records.

Songs such as “Kingsteppa” and “Marijuana In the Kouchie” also give Beenie Man space to operate without relying on major guest appearances.

Four decades of Dancehall

“Eminence” carries additional weight because of Beenie Man’s place in Jamaican music.

Born Moses Davis, Beenie Man has spent more than four decades in the music business. His career stretches from the early Dancehall era into today’s streaming-driven industry.

Albums such as “Many Moods of Moses,” “Art and Life,” “Tropical Storm” and “Back to Basics” helped establish his international reputation.

His catalogue includes major Dancehall records such as “Who Am I (Sim Simma),” “Girls Dem Sugar” and “King of the Dancehall.”

Beenie Man also earned the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for “Art and Life” in 2001.

The King of Dancehall in a new era

Beenie Man’s influence remains significant as a younger generation continues to reshape Dancehall.

Few Jamaican artists have maintained the same level of longevity. He has remained active through major changes in production, technology and the global music industry.

That makes “Eminence” more than another album release.

The project places a Dancehall veteran alongside established international stars and newer Caribbean voices. It also shows Beenie Man continuing to adapt without abandoning the genre that built his career.

With 16 tracks, Flava McGregor behind the production and a wide-ranging list of collaborators, “Eminence” adds another chapter to Beenie Man’s four-decade musical legacy.

The album is available now across major streaming platforms.
