Diddy Reportedly Fights Jamaican Kingpin Dudus Coke at Fort Dix Prison, Suffers Head Injury
Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly got into a violent prison fight with Jamaican kingpin Christopher “Dudus” Coke at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey. The confrontation allegedly left the American music mogul with a head injury that required emergency medical treatment outside the facility.
According to a report published by TMZ on October 14, 2026, multiple sources inside the prison identified Coke as the inmate involved in the altercation. The report says the fight followed growing tensions over allegations that Combs received special privileges behind bars.
Dispute Over Alleged Prison Privileges
The reported conflict follows an NBC News investigation into Combs’ alleged lifestyle inside Fort Dix. The report cited accounts from inmates who claimed the music mogul received special meals, cleaning assistance, laundry services and massages while incarcerated. It also raised allegations involving access to contraband.
The coverage reportedly prompted prison officials to conduct raids and confiscate prohibited cellphones from inmates. According to TMZ’s sources, Coke and other prisoners blamed Combs for attracting unwanted scrutiny that led to increased searches and the loss of privileges.
The confrontation allegedly escalated into a physical fight. Combs reportedly suffered the more serious injury and was taken to an outside medical facility. The reported account says both inmates were assigned to the prison’s Special Housing Unit following the incident. Prison officials have not publicly confirmed the reported circumstances.
Who Is Christopher “Dudus” Coke?
Coke is a Jamaican drug trafficker and former leader of the Shower Posse criminal organization. U.S. authorities sought his extradition from Jamaica in 2010. After his arrest and transfer to the United States, he pleaded guilty to federal racketeering and conspiracy charges in 2011.
He received a 23-year federal prison sentence in 2012. His criminal case followed years of investigations into drug trafficking and organized criminal activity connected to Jamaica and the United States.
Diddy’s Prison Sentence and Disciplinary Record
Combs began serving his 50-month federal sentence at Fort Dix in 2025 after a jury convicted him on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The jury acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
His incarceration has attracted further attention following reports of alleged contraband cellphone use and multiple disciplinary violations. TMZ reported on October 13 that his disciplinary record included fight-related infractions and cellphone violations. His projected release date has reportedly shifted to March 2, 2028.
The reported clash with Coke adds another development to Combs’ turbulent incarceration. However, the account of the fight and its alleged motive remains based on sources cited by media outlets, rather than a public confirmation from prison officials.
