Massachusetts State Police trooper suspended after bar fight caught on video

A Massachusetts State Police trooper has been suspended after a violent altercation involving another trooper was captured on video inside a bar in Quincy, Massachusetts.

According to authorities, the incident occurred Friday night at the Reel House Bar, where one trooper allegedly punched the other, knocking him unconscious before continuing the assault while he was on the ground.

The Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office is reviewing the incident. As of now, no criminal charges have been announced.

The Massachusetts State Police condemned the behavior seen in the video, describing it as inconsistent with the department’s standards. Officials said the suspended trooper remains under internal investigation and that appropriate action will be taken once the investigation is complete.
