Malie Donn targets Skippa, Valiant, Skeng and Chronic Law on ‘Opps Song’
Malie Donn has turned up the heat in one of dancehall’s biggest ongoing feuds, releasing the official music video for “Opps Song,” a diss track aimed primarily at Skippa while also taking lyrical shots at Valiant, Skeng and Chronic Law.
Produced by El Crook Empire, Yo Falcon, Shortdon Muzik, Chevo Records, Kripto Entertainment, Hemton Music, 6ix Real Records and Salkey Records, the hard-hitting trap-dancehall record serves as Malie Donn’s latest response in the escalating lyrical war that has dominated conversations across the genre in recent weeks.
Throughout the track, Malie Donn challenges Skippa’s street credibility, dismisses his standing within dancehall and accuses him of relying more on social media than real-life reputation. The deejay also broadens the attack by taking aim at Valiant, while referencing Skeng and his “Ratty Gang” camp, and firing a lyrical shot at Chronic Law over his perceived support of Skippa’s recent diss track.
The release follows Skippa’s “Detox,” which itself was widely viewed as a direct response to Malie Donn’s earlier release “Back 2 Basic.” With “Opps Song,” Malie Donn keeps the rivalry alive, adding another chapter to what has become one of dancehall’s most closely watched lyrical battles of 2026.
Beyond the personal attacks, the song touches on themes of loyalty, betrayal, street authenticity and the role social media plays in modern dancehall conflicts, reflecting how today’s feuds often begin online before spilling into the recording booth.
The official music video was directed and edited by Bad Shoota of Now Or Neva, delivering gritty visuals that match the aggressive tone of the record.
As fans continue debating who currently holds the upper hand in the clash, “Opps Song” is likely to fuel even more discussion across the dancehall community while leaving many waiting to see whether Skippa will respond again.
